Today, I’ll tell ya the tale of Cinderella,
Oh you already know that one? No, you’re wrong.
Well, even this story starts with Cindy,
And her Stepsisters who would never get along.
Cindy’s Stepsisters made her do all the chores,
From washing the dishes, to cleaning the floors.
One day the Sisters announced they were going to the Ball.
“And Cinderella,” they said. “You go and clean the Hall!”
They would not take Cindy there.
“But,” said Cindy. “It’s not fair!”
After they went away, Cinderella began to cry.
Suddenly, she heard someone say, “Oh Cinderella! Hi!
I’m your fairy Godmother, tell me what you need!
Is it money, is it power, or super speed?”
Cindy replied, “I seriously look a mess,
So I want a beautiful dress!
And please, some jewellery too.”
“Whatever you want, I’ll give you!”
And in a second, Cindy saw that she’d completely changed!
She now had on her, a beautiful golden dress.
Also, she had necklaces and rings,
And looked like a Princess!
Then the fairy gave her a coach and said,
“Make sure that you are all right,
And come back home soon, as,
The magic will work only till midnight!”
And then Cinderella, diamonds and all,
Sat on the coach and went to the Ball.
Her Sisters were shocked to see her there,
All they could do, was to stare.
The Prince, tall, handsome and strong,
Danced with her all night long.
That night, Cindy was so glad,
But her Sisters were angry and mad.
Suddenly, Cindy saw the clock,
And she was filled with terror and shock.
It was eleven fifty-eight!
Oh no! Cinderella was really late!
She held the hand of her man,
And down the stairs, they both ran.
And down the young Prince fell!
Just then, something happened, which made Cindy yell.
The Prince’s body began to change,
And he looked very strange.
He had changed into a wolf!
“Who are you?” Cinderella cried.
“A big bad wolf,” the wolf replied.
I’d eaten Red Riding Hood’s Gran,
And then a witch had turned me into a man.
Now that it’s midnight,
The stupid magic has died.”
“Save me someone!” Cinderella cried.
Just then, she saw Red Riding Hood.
On the wolf’s head, the brave girl stood.
“I will save you from this beast,
And on him, we shall feast!
I will call my Brother too.”
Cinderella said, “Your Brother? Who?”
“He is kind and strong and good,
The one and only, Robin Hood!”
Cindy asked, “Robin Hood is your bro?”
“Yes he is, didn’t you know?”
Both of us look the same,
And we also have the same surname!
Suddenly, Robin came there, as if on cue,
Said he, “Cindy, Red, hey both of you!”
He then picked up the wolf and the fought and fought,
In the end, Robin killed him with a headshot!
Now the poor ol’ wolf was dead.
“We now need to find the real Prince!” Cindy suddenly said.
“We don’t know where the Prince is,” Robin cried.
“But someone can help us,” he then replied.
I can give you a hint.
She lives in a tower,
And shares her name with a flower!
Well, well, well,
She is Rapunzel!”
All of them headed to the tower,
And it took them nearly an hour.
Then Robin Hood cried,
“Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair,
This tower doesn’t even have a freakin’ stair!”
Her mile-long tress, beautiful and brown,
Came out of her window, and fell down.
They climbed it up like a ladder,
Then went into her room, and saw her.
But what surprised them the most,
Was that the Prince was there, having a toast!
“How is he here?” Cindy cried.
“Well, he’s my Brother!” Rapunzel replied.
So at last, the prince was found,
He was there all right, safe and sound.
The Ball was held again that night,
And everyone was filled with delight.
Cinderella and the Prince then married each other.
(They had even invited her Stepsisters and Mother!)
Their lives were filled with happiness and laughter,
And they lived happily ever after…
Tell this story to everyone who doesn’t know,
‘Cause this is how the story should go!
